Giants in the Dirt renovated this cavernous triplex rock n roll bar and performance space in New York’s Lower Eastside, with portions untouched since the early 20th century. Playful retro-lounge ambiance captures the mood of the front bar, flanked by tall tufted vixen-red banquettes. An intimate mezzanine atop the pool table room overlooks the ballroom’s wavy banquettes and quarter-pie bar. A live music venue downstairs retains original materials, as found throughout Fontana’s, to evoke a century of history gone by.
